Hiring safely on oferty

Every professional on oferty completes identity verification before their first listing is published. Verified accounts display a badge on their profile and listings. Unverified accounts cannot post.

Reviews can only be left by customers who have actually contacted a pro through oferty. We don't allow paid or incentivised reviews, and we remove reviews that violate our content guidelines.

Use oferty's in-app messaging when possible. Avoid sharing personal banking details, ID numbers, or full home addresses until you have agreed to work with a pro. For emergency call-outs, agree on the visit time and approximate quote up front.

Payments for jobs happen directly between customer and professional. Prefer common, traceable payment methods (bank transfer, card, Bizum). Be cautious of any pro who insists on cash-only payments without an invoice, or who asks for large up-front payments before any work has begun.

If something feels off — a listing that looks fake, a pro asking for unusual payments, inappropriate messages — use the Report button on the listing or profile. You can also email us at safety@oferty.com. We review every report.
